Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum
Located at 7711 E. Academy Blvd. in the former Lowry AFB on the east side of Denver, wings over the Rockies Air and space Museum is housed in the 30,000 sq. ft. World War II-era Hanger No. 1.

Club flying sessions are generally held on the fourth Sunday of each month but special events at the facility may alter this schedule.  Check the Flying Dates page for the latest scheduled dates.

The height to the bottom of the roof trusses is approximately 93 ft but hanging light fixtures limit the unobstructed flying height to approximately 38 ft.  Flying takes place during the museums regularly scheduled hours which provides ample opportunity to showcase the hobby to the general public and flying next to the various aircraft exhibits is both fun and exciting.

From Quebec Street:  turn east on 1st Ave., go 1/4 mile and turn right onto Roslyn Street.  Roslyn then curves around to the left and becomes Academy blvd.  You will see the B-52 on the left side of the road!
