Welcome to the Colorado Indoor Flyers  website.  The purpose of this site is to detail the indoor free-flight model airplane activities in Colorado, particularly along the front range.  The model aircraft flown are predominately rubber or electric powered model airplanes which can be either scale models of actual aircraft, or lightweight duration models which can weigh less than a dollar bill and can fly for over a half-hour using a simple rubber-band motor.  The models are free-flight meaning that once launched, the models fly on their own without the benefit of radio control.  If you are interested in what this challenging hobby has to offer we encourage you to visit some of the recommended websites listed on the Links Page or attend one of our regularly scheduled flying sessions.
